Residents may request:
- Canadian flags
- Canadian lapel pins
- Provincial/territorial flags (limited availability)
Requests are fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Petitions to Parliament
Canadians can raise issues of public interest through petitions.
Key Requirements
- Must relate to federal jurisdiction
- Minimum 25 signatures
- Can be paper or e-petitions
Process
- Submitted through the House of Commons
- Presented by an MP
- Government responds within 45 days
